There are a handful of Greek food spots in town, but most of them are fast casual, or grab and go cafes. For the classier side of Greek cuisine, visit newly opened Kouzina Greek Taverna & Bar. The clean, sleek interiors and fresh white and blue décor makes it feel like you’re on some fabulous island vacation. Start with a glass of Greek wine over hot or cold appetizers like handmade dips and pan-fried saganaki cheese. Then for your entrée you can keep it light with salads and a selection from the pita bar, or more elevated dishes like souvlaki or moussaka. Meat lovers will want to come for the Pikilia mixed grill for two. It includes lamb chops, gyro, sausage, and a few of the other of the meats that Greek cuisine if known for, along with pita, tzatziki, and fries. And it wouldn’t be a Greek meal without handmade desserts dripping in honey, whipped cream, and cinnamon.
